OFFICIAL NOTICE OF CHAIRMANSHIP ASPIRATION

On the 28th of September, 2025, Multiple Chief Richard Oshioriamhe Okozi formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Chairman of Etsako Central Local Government Area under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ward 4, Ogbona. Speaking at an extraordinary ward meeting, Chief Okozi reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to selfless service and visionary leadership, presenting a clear roadmap for the socio-economic transformation and sustainable development of the local government.

 

His declaration was met with overwhelming support from the Ward 4 leadership and members of the APC, led by Hon. Mark Ikpaghu, who described his ambition as a welcome development for the party. The executives commended Chief Okozi’s proven leadership qualities, inclusive governance style, and people-oriented approach, highlighting his capacity to unite the people and drive impactful policies that address grassroots needs.

 

The meeting concluded with renewed optimism as stakeholders unanimously expressed confidence in Chief Okozi’s ability to deliver unprecedented growth, peace, and prosperity if elected. His declaration marks a significant step towards a united and progressive Etsako Central LGA, where inclusive governance, economic empowerment, and infrastructural advancement remain top priorities.
