Capt Philip Itsede, the APC Etsako Central Local Government Chairman, heartily felicitates with Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri, the distinguished member representing the good people of Etsako Central Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, on the occasion of his birthday. He described Hon. Waziri as a visionary lawmaker, a bridge-builder, and a committed representative whose dedication to the progress and unity of Etsako Central remains commendable. Capt Itsede acknowledged his humility, leadership qualities, and relentless service to humanity. He prayed that God grants him continued wisdom, good health, and greater achievements in his political and personal endeavors.

Hon. Mrs. Eugenia Abdallah, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Edo State, alongside other delegates, paid a courtesy visit to the residence of Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency Biodun Oyebanji.   In her remarks, Hon. Abdallah commended the visionary leadership of the Edo State Governor, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, describing him as a role model whose achievements are inspiring other states.   She noted that the positive transformation in Edo State under Senator Okpebholo’s administration has become a benchmark for good governance, as other states, including Ekiti, are now following in his progressive footsteps.

 Authorities Must Lead by Example on Road Safety   It is surprising and disappointing to discover that some official vehicles on our roads are not equipped with essential safety tools such as fire extinguishers. These are the same items for which motorists are often penalized during routine checks.   A recent incident, where an official vehicle caught fire, exposed this contradiction. In that moment, it was responsible citizens who stepped forward with their own fire extinguishers to control the situation and prevent further damage.   This situation highlights the importance of leading by example. If road users are required to follow safety regulations, then authorities must also comply with the standards they enforce.
